Why I shoot

Whether I’m racing road bikes, on the golf course, or snowboarding, these sports are my life. But when I'm not competing or riding, I'm behind the lens shooting everyone else.

Because I’m an athlete myself, I know these sports from the inside out. I know exactly where the decisive moment is going to happen and what real, raw effort looks like when it hits. Every athlete puts in work that nobody sees. My job is to capture the one second that validates all of it, and give that moment back to you.

Photography is an extension of the sports I love, and there is nothing better than bringing people joy—both during the shoot and when they see the final result.

Top 10

The ten frames I'd show you first the ones that say the most about how I shoot. Tap any of them to see it full size.

01 / 10

Motion of Cycling

Vancouver, BC 2025

I panned with the riders at a slow shutter to blur the crowd and road while keeping their faces sharp — I wanted the photo to feel as fast as the final sprint actually was.

01 — Cycling

Built at race pace

Crits, road races, and everything between the tape. I race these events myself, so I shoot them from the inside I know the corner where it gets fast, the second a rider commits, and how to catch it sharp. Fast, close, and shot at the athlete's pace.

02 — Snowboarding & Ski

Chasing winter

Snowboarding and skiing, from resort laps to the backcountry between BC's mountains and Japan's powder. Cold hands, big light, and riders at full send. These are the frames worth freezing for.

03 — Golf

Precision, framed

Golf is the quiet one no peloton, no powder spray. Just focus, clean lines, and one swing that has to be right. I shoot the tension before contact and the follow-through after: the small moments that decide the round.

Work with me

Racing, event, team, or brand I shoot the action from inside the sport and hand back the frames that matter. Available for a full day on the road, the mountain, or the course, based between Vancouver and Japan. Tell me about your event and let's plan it.
